Full Sail takes students education beyond the confines of the classroom and into real world situations; putting them to work on the same kind of equipment encountered in media production facilities throughout the world. Situated on 180 acres in Winter Park, Florida, Full Sail houses over 110 professional production facilities and studios including recording consoles, digital video editing workstations, a motion capture studio, HD-TV studio, concert sound systems, computerized moving lights, and computer/graphic workstations. Students use these studios to create websites, animation sequences, 3D graphics, computer generated models, visual effects, and interactive games. Hands-on experience and solid, practical knowledge combined with traditional learning techniques provides an education that prepares students for careers in these growing industries.

Full Sail's Computer Animation degree program features intense, real-world training - getting students ready to make a mark on the growing 3D animation industry. Students learn how to bring their creations to life using the same software package designed for major motion pictures and top selling video games. Our professional instructors take you in-depth with techniques to make your characters and environments come alive - from modeling and rigging to texturing and compositing. Digital art production, digital publishing, interactive media design, 3D computer graphics, DVD authoring, web design, digital video editing, and multimedia production are just a few of the courses available to prepare students for a career in Digital Art & Design. Professional instructors with in-field experience also train students on a wide variety of industry standard software packages. Courses include: Actions Scripting for Flash, Digital Video, Digital Audio Design, 3D Animation, and Design Art & Theory. Full Sail's Game Development Bachelor's Degree Program gets students on the road to a career in developing, designing, and programming games for consoles and computers. Students take in-depth courses on subjects like pre-production, game doc creation, programming and implementation, game play and level design, and how to design Artificial Intelligence. Working in a real world production environment with a team of programmers, artists, and designers, students develop an entire playable video game, from start to finish.
